I am finishing up my second week with this challenge! I am feeling good.
I have hit some challenges with writing. Yet wearing the same dress has been great! I am so glad I don't have to think of what to wear every day for work- it is super easy to slip on and layer for the weather. This week was COLD and I appreciated that the Brooklyn dress was easy to use as a base layer to stay warm!
Here are my outfits for week 2.
The week started out with mild weather and then got cold and snowy.
As for my writing- I was trying to write my story out and I feel like I have been sucked into a worm hole. I am getting lost with twists and subplots and such. So instead of typing it out linear... perhaps I will try post-it note style? So I can move things around easier?
I was discouraged for a day- wondering the value in proceeding, wondering if anyone would even be interested in reading YET ANOTHER another RomCom?
Then I read this post from a friend of mine:
"Lighter, Happier, Clean Reading"
"Lighter, Happier, Clean Reading"
I also like reading a variety of books- but sometimes you want something that is just light and fun to read- like snacking on a sweet treat.
So I am back on track.
I am ready to navigate this roadblock.
I feel like it's a "mechanical" issue- figuring out my writing process.
The story is in my head.
How do I get it out?
I will try the post it "note" method this next week.
I have another distraction on my calendar- next week.
My sister is coming to visit. It is a happy occasion- I just don't know how conducive to my writing goal.
